The station handles about 5,400 passengers daily, he said, pointing out that it is among the 40 stations in Telangana that are being redeveloped with modern facilities. While the ₹720 crore redevelopment of Secunderabad station is progressing well and the Hyderabad station is being developed at a cost of ₹350 crore, the Kacheguda redevelopment plan is currently in the approval stage, he added.
