Former dough Sunil Gavascar believes that Kings Pandjab (PBKS) is facing a slight disadvantage before the final of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 against the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) on Tuesday, June 3 at Narendra Modi in Ahmedabad.
Gavascar pointed out that PBKS may not have enough time to recover after their hard victory against the Indians in Mumbai (Mi) on Sunday in qualifying 2.
RCB, on the other hand, enters the final rest, after enjoying a four -day break after their dominant eight goals over PBK in qualifying 1.

AND FOR THE PUNJAB KINGS, I Think Also The Fact That They Just Get and Day’s Break Before the Final and the Match Also Finished So Late Against GAME, It’s and 7:30 Start, But The Body Does Certainly Need and Lot of Rest After the Exertions of the Previous Day, ”Gavaskar Told India Today in An Interview.
“The Bengalur team had four days off, so when entering the framework, they will certainly be mentally and physically much more fresh than the Pandjab team.”
“There is no advantage”
PBKS played two matches at the Narendra Modi stadium in Ahmedabad during the IPL 2025, both won – 11 -run victory over Gujarat Titans in the AA League scene Five Goals victory against Indians in Mumbai in qualifying 2. Meanwhile, RCB has to play on the spot this season. Gavascar, however, downplayed the impact of this factor and said it was unlikely that it would depend on the amazing form of RCB.
“Not so much advantage. As I said, I think it’s the fact that RCB comes to the final with a chain of absolutely brilliant performances with a bat and the ball. So I don’t think they will not play here.”
“Panjab, as I said, had only 24 hours to recover, which is not enough for the efforts they spent to beat Indy Mumbai,” Gavascar added.
The RCB will appear in its fourth IPL final, after it ended up as a runner in 2009, 2011 and 2016. Meanwhile, PBKS will play its second finals, the first from losing with Kalkata Knight (KKR) in 2014.
