Kim Kardashian presents Kimi Antonelli with a towel after the viral mayhem at the Monaco GP
Kim Kardashian has made amends with Mercedes youngster Kimi Antonelli after she accidentally found herself at the center of one of Formula 1’s most unexpected viral moments at the Monaco Grand Prix.
The reality TV star and businessman, who supported Ferrari driver Lewis Hamilton in Monaco, presented Antonelli with a personal towel ahead of the Spanish Grand Prix in Barcelona after he mistakenly used one reserved for the Italian teenager. This gesture both amused and surprised Antonelli.

“Thank you, Kim,” Antonelli said after receiving the gift.
“Is that really from her?”
The swap comes just days after social media had a field day over a seemingly innocuous incident in the paddock that quickly became one of the lighter stories of the Formula 1 season.

The story began during last weekend’s Monaco Grand Prix, where Kardashian made an appearance in the paddock while supporting Hamilton.
Videos from the event showed Kardashian using a towel she seemingly didn’t know had been set aside for Antonelli after the race. Formula 1 fans quickly picked up on the moment and turned it into an online joke, with clips and memes quickly spreading across social media platforms.
Antonelli decided to add some humor to the incident rather than making an issue out of it.
The Mercedes teenager posted a playful video on social media repeatedly asking: “Where’s my towel?”, adding fuel to what has already become one of the weekend’s most talked-about off-track moments.
While Kardashian may still be adjusting to the unique traditions and idiosyncrasies of the Formula 1 paddock, the incident quickly became a harmless and amusing flashpoint among fans.
Rather than let the joke run its course, Kardashian decided to send Antonelli a replacement.
Ahead of the race weekend in Barcelona, the Italian driver received a brand new white towel with the message “To Kim from Kim” embroidered on it.
Mercedes shared the moment on social media and captured Antonelli’s reaction when he realized the gift was indeed from Kardashian.
The timing capped off another memorable week for the young driver, who made headlines for far more important reasons than missing towels. Antonelli recently became the youngest winner of the Monaco Grand Prix and increased his dominant lead in the championship with a sixth straight victory.
