
A woman was killed on a scooter scooter with her husband, while on Friday morning he escaped a minor injury in an accident near the Benniganahalli railway bridge.
Mahadevaiah, 65 years, and his wife Menaka (61), residents A. Narayanapura were on Friday morning on their way to Indianagar. Because the duo was on a scooter near the Benniganahalli railway bridge on Old Madras Road, they hit their scooter into their scooter. Both fell due to the impact of the collision, Menaka suffered severe head injuries and was killed on the spot, even though Mahadevaiah escaped a minor injury.
Mahadevapura traffic police registered the case against a private bus driver for rash and sloppy driving and caused death due to negligence.
