A clutch of major infrastructure projects, including the four-lane MC Road and the Sabari Rail project, will be funded through the Kerala Infrastructure Investment Fund Board (KIIFB).
The KIIFB board meeting on Friday agreed in principle to provide funds of ₹5,217 crore for the four-laning Kesavadasapuram-Angamaly MC Road, ₹1,900 crore for the Angamaly-Erumely Sabari Rail project and ₹6 crore for the KS System0
These were among 11 projects worth ₹8,081 crore that were given in-principle approval and 14 more projects worth ₹689 crore received financial approval at the 56th meeting of the board chaired by Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan.
