According to a press release, the film is completely shot in Delhi, a lyrical portrait of love and ambition that captures the heart of the city and its live contradictions.
Its executive producer is the award -winning director of Payal Kadadia.
The cameraman of the film is Manesh Madhavan, the double winner of the Kerala State Film Award for the best cinematography. The screenplay of Raj mixes intimate narration with the pulse of the city. Together with actors Roshan Abdul Rahoof and Bhanupriya, Khidki Gaav is Jitheesh Raichel, Araty KB and Shoban Sharma.
The film, rooted in the village of Khirki in Delhi, takes its name and spirit from this settlement, which dates back to the 14th century. As soon as the settlement of Migrants Rajasthani stands, the village today stands across the road from the shimmering Saket Malls, where global consumerism is doing. The surrounding area is also home to some of the most important art and cultural spaces in Delhi, such as Khoj and the project of the community library, and is a living metaphor for contradictions that shape the city.
