
The Minister of the Environment Eshwar Khandre ordered forestry officials to take steps to forbid landing of livestock in all the Karnataka forest areas.
This order comes against the background of the death of five tigers in mm Hills Wildlife Sanctuary 26 June. Tigress and his four chicks were reported that she died of poisoning by the owner of a cow, who was killed by a big cat.
In a note on the next main secretary and the main main conservator of the forest, Mr. Khandre said that villagers living in the perimeter of MM Hills and Cauvery Wildlife Sanctuary allow a large number of livestocks.
