Khammam MP Ramasahayam Raghuram Reddy asked the officials concerned to ensure that the ongoing modernization work at the Khammam railway station is completed in a quick way.
He looked at the progress of ongoing civic works for the installation of new escalators, among other things, modernization work on Tuesday at the station.
He wanted the ongoing reconstruction to be immediately completed for upgrading the equipment and improving passenger equipment.
The main works launched as part of the remediation project at Khammam Railway Station include the improvement of the facade of the station, air -conditioned waiting room and other modern passenger equipment.
