
Indian sailor’s left arm Khaleel Ahmed shortened his stint with the English district of ESSEX for personal reasons, the club confirmed on Monday. A 26 -year -old man who joined Essex in June for what was supposed to be a two -month spell covering the formats of red and white balls, returning home after only two first -class matches in the ongoing regional championship.
The Khaleel Treaty was initially intended to see it until the end of September. It was expected to play in six matches of the Region of the Championship – basically the rest of the Essex Red -ball season – and a maximum of ten presents accessories in the Royal London One -day Cup. However, its involvement was limited to two games with a red ball, in which it claimed four goals on average 64.50.
“Although we are disappointed when we see him leaving, we fully support Khaleel’s decision and are grateful for the posts he has brought during his time,” Essex said in an official statement. The club did not publish further details of the nature of personal reasons that caused its early return.
Khaleel joined Essex on the back of a remarkable performance with a red ball for India A, where he lifted figures 4 in 70 in the first -class Lion’s match. His signature was declared in mid -June and briefly joined the party.
Although he tried to have a significant impact on his short Essex trip, Stint was considered an opportunity for Khaleel to get more red ball exposures in overseas, especially with Indian selectors who follow the seam bowling possibilities in front of the wrapped international calendar.
Khaleel, who last represented India in 2019, played 11 one -day international and 14 T20is and scored 15 and 13 goals. In a longer format he performed in 22 first -class matches, with 60 goals on average 30.13. While his exploitation of white balls are well known, he quietly built a respectable record in the red ball for his home side Rajasthan.
He was also part of last year’s Duleep Trophy campaign and is expected to be in rivalry again when the interdisciplinary tournament returns to the home season Red-ball in India 28 August. Soon the end of his regional stint can still allow him to re -integrate into domestic preparations with Rajasthan or his zonal side in front of this accessory.
