The Kereral Government Medical College (KGMCTA) Association will launch a series of protest programs starting with the National Doctor Day 1.
KGMCTA also plans to start a social media campaign on the same day to emphasize their concerns.
It required immediate payouts of ongoing arrears from January 2016 to September 2020 and repair of anomalies revision of remuneration in the entrance cadre. KGMCTA pointed out that all categories of state government employees were paid for arrears to revise salaries, except for the Faculty of Medical College.
He also demanded that the government take immediate steps to remedy the lack of positions of the faculty at many government medical faculties in the state. It is reported that the new medical faculties should be functional only after the provision of sufficient infrastructure and the creation of sufficient teaching and non -teaching contributions.
The government should take steps to improve systemic shortcomings in the public sector hospitals and stop blaming doctors for everything that is bad, Kgmcta said.
