
Kerala Fiber Optic Network (KFON) Limited, the State Government Initiative aimed at providing free high -speed Internet to economically return families in Kerala, announced an increase in the data limit for poverty users (BPL). The free internet data limit, previously set to 1.5 GB daily at 20 Mbps, has now been increased to the monthly ceiling of 1,000 GB at 20 Mbps. So far, there has been a challenge across Kerala, including distant tribal settlements and island regions, where the digital approach remains a challenge, so far 8,099 free BPL cfon connections have been provided.
Elected individuals in the BPL category can now apply for free connection of KFON online. Applications must be submitted via the link: Together with the applicant’s data and the necessary documents. Applications should be served in the name of the ration holder and the required location can be marked precisely using the provided online map tool.
For further support, applicants can send a whatsApp message with the text “Kfon BPL” to 9061604466 to get step -by -step instructions through the platform. The applications will only be accepted via online mode and services will be provided on the basis of earlier management, first being earlier, with a priority provided by areas where cfon is already active.
