
Sujeesh Kumar, 45 years, the main accused of the case of fraud with multiple Vishwadeepthi, was arrested on Thursday on Thursday by the rural police Thrissur.
He is a former chairman of the company and Payanad resident in Malappuram. He was in custody.
The arrest is associated with the cheating of CRORES RUPI investors through Irinjalakuda Vishwadeepthi Multi-State Agri Cooperative Society based in Chanthakunn, Irinjalakuda. The accused allegedly lured investors by promising high revenues from solid deposits. However, the principal was not paid.
The company falsely claimed that it operates under the Indian government and promised that the returns would be generated from agricultural activities to profit on rented agricultural land.
Fifteen cases only against Sujeesh Kumar were registered at the Irinjalakuda police station. In total, 32 cases were registered.
Jeevalatha, 39 years, a former company manager and resident MuttiThithi, was previously arrested.
Based on the instructions of the District Police Chief B. Krishnakumara, the case was investigated by a team that included police inspector Irinjalakuda Shajan MS, Sub-inspectors (Si) Prannakumar KP, Muhammed Rashi, Shabu TK and Civil Police and Abhilash CM
