Keral’s development model had its foundations in land reforms, said Chief Minister Pinaraya Vijayan.
After the start of the National Conclave on “Bhoomi – Digital Survey for Intelligent Land Management: Innovation, Integration and Impact” in State Capital on Wednesday.
He pointed out that one of the most important decisions of the first government, which came to power after the creation of the state of Keral, was the launch of land reformation. “This paved the way for a comprehensive change and development in the state.”
It was considered that scientific survey in the state was dealing with soil -related problems, in particular disputes concerning land boundaries. The steps carried out in this direction were not fully effective and therefore it was decided to undergo a digital survey.
Completion of a digital soil survey would ensure that no disputes with it would happen anywhere in the state, he said. “Digital survey ensures that all the details of the land belonging to a person are transparent and easy to understand. This will help achieve a permanent solution to a huge problem in Kerala.”
The main minister said that steps were taken to complete a digital survey in a time -bound manner and made sure that the state exists as a soil management model.
He expressed hope that the participation of delegates from other states in the Conclave of Bhoomi would result in a fertile discussion and the benefit of the state. He also released a video Conclave.
The Minister of Income K. Rajan said that the state was able to perform unprecedented modernization in land reforms. He pointed out that digital resurvey is a digital end-to-end without any physical input.
The main guest was the Minister of Himachal Pradesh Jagat Singh Negi. Ministers of Kerala; AA RAHIM, MP; MLA and IAS officials from Kerala and other countries were present.
The aim of the Conclave of Bhoomi organized by the Ministry of Income and the Department of Survey and Land Records is to emphasize the progress of the state in land administration. For the next two days, the Samudra Beach, Kovallam, will have eight sessions and 20 presentations on the topic of management of intelligent land. Delegates from 23 states registered into the Conclave. National and international experts in the field will also participate.
