
Kerala is likely to face a great disruption of their public transport system in the next two days, with planned strikes. Private buses on Wednesday 9th July will evoke on Tuesday 8 July.
The amicable committee for bus owners confirmed the nationwide strike after interviews with the Commissioner for Transport did not solve their fears. Private bus owners also warned against an indefinite strike from 22 July, unless the government meets their long -term requirements, the Hindu said.

Key requirements of bus owners
The main requirements include rapid renewal of the permit to expire, withdrawing the Directive transfer of services with limited tracks to conventional buses, revisions of the level of students’ concession and the cancellation of the rule that requires the bus staff to obtain a police permit certificate.
Meanwhile, a 24-hour national strike will begin, calling 10 central departments for a 17-point chart of requirements, Tuesday at midnight. The strike is expected to have public transport and everyday life across Kerala.

The amicable committee of the unions at the state level level appealed to the public and workers to support the strike to protest the “against farmers” of the Union government.

More than 25 crore workers from the sectors such as banking, postal services, mining, construction and transport will take part in the national general strike or Bharat Bandh on Wednesday 9 July.
The strike is expected to cause a fundamental disruption of public services, although schools and private offices are likely to function as usual.
Who called Bharat Bandh 9 July?
The strike was called a common platform of 10 central departments along with several organizations and farmers. They protest against what they call the politics of “opponents, against the farmer and lost policy of the central government.
Trade unions accuse the government of bringing economic and labor reforms that weaken the rights of workers, limit collective bargains and worsen working conditions, all in the name of improving easy business.
“Farmers and rural workers will also join the protest throughout the country,” said Amarjet Kaur from the union congress All India.
