KeralamBJP president Rajeev Chandrasekhar on Thursday (November 5, 2026) asked Congress leader Rahul Gandhi to “go to Bangladesh”, accusing him of “trying to create anarchy” in India.

“If Rahul Gandhi is interested in creating anarchy, he should go to Bangladesh. He can take the Jamaat-e-Islami who support him and do politics there,” Mr Chandrasekhar said in a Facebook post in Malayalam.

He said Mr Gandhi’s “dream” would never come true in India and claimed the country’s democracy was “protected” by the BJP and 140 million Indians.

The Nemom MLA and former Union Minister of State said the Congress had lost the 2014 and 2019 elections and was defeated again in 2024 despite allegedly resorting to false propaganda.

His remarks came after protests by Congress-led opposition parties against Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar and the BJP-led government at the Center for Special Intensive Revision (SIR) and alleged deletion of voters from electoral rolls.

Mr. Chandrasekhar said the message of the people was clearly understood by the Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha.

“Rahul is distracting the public”

He claimed that the Congress could no longer command the trust of the people and that voters would not support the party based on its rule in Himachal Pradesh, Karnataka, Telangana and Kerala.

He further alleged that Mr. Gandhi was trying to divert public attention by spreading falsehoods and creating anarchy in the country to defeat Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
