The Union Railway Railway Ministry, which has removed ambiguity about the Sabari Rail project.
The state government agreed to obtain the land with a share of 50% of the project costs. After the start of the land, the work on the project could be transferred forward, said the Minister of Railways Ashwini Vaishnaw in response to the question on Parliament on Wednesday.
On the specific question of whether the Union’s government had any plans for extending the railway line on Thiruvananthapuram to join the International Port of Vishinjam, the Minister showed that there was no relationship between the Sabarimal Railway Project and the International Marine Port of Vishinjam.
There was an ambiguity regarding the project’s cost sharing because the state claimed that the responsibility arising from the project by the Council of the Investment Fund for Keral infrastructure (KIIFB) should be fully exempt from the state loan limit. The Union’s government then proposed a tripartite agreement on the introduction of the project, including the State Government, the Ministry of Railways and the Indian Reserve Bank. However, in a memorandum submitted by the Government of Kely, the state government clarified the state government that it disagrees with the conclusion of a tripartite agreement, as the Union’s government proposes.
High -level committee
During the meeting between the main Minister Pinarayi Vijayan and Mr. Vaishnaw in June, the Minister of Trade Unions promised to visit a place for a project at a high level of the Ministry of Railways in July. However, the Committee has not yet visited Kera, although the state government has ordered the district collectors Ernacula, IDUKKI and Kottayam to restore land acquisition units and complete the revised harmonization of the railway line to speed up the project, government resources said.
According to a revised estimate, the project will cost 3 810.69 GBP. The 110 km route Angamaly-Eremely was first announced in the budget on the railway 1997-98. The acquisition of soil was completed at 8 km, while working on a section of 7 km between Angamala and Kalady was completed earlier.
