“Unlike the US, where there are opportunities to earn while learning, they are limited and limited in time, Europe offers a better balance between working and private life,” Saji said.
Although diplomatic friction between India and Canada seems to be settled, the state bank of India, the largest Indian bank of the public sector, has to raise the suspension of several leading Canadian universities from its global education program, allowing students to access loans without collateral up to 50 ₹ Lakh.
Anju P., a student from Kozhikode, had the first opportunity for her postgraduate dreams in the travel and tourism industry. “Most European countries also offer a cultural experience. With a single student visa we can travel in 26 countries. We will experience various cultures along with our academics,” she said.
Remya Mg, a high school teacher and a student of a student looking for university education in the UK, said: “I know some students who went to Canada and tried to get a job for years.”
While Germany and the United Kingdom are hot among students, countries like Latvia, Malta, Lithuania and Poland are also very sought after. “We are processing at least 200 applications for education for education in each state of the state currently from students looking for university education in the UK,” said the consultant for the head of the national bank in the country.
While studying in European countries is a language challenge for most, students seem to be willing to face this challenge directly. In Kerala there are a number of institutions that offer foreign language training to equip those for a flourishing career in European countries.
“There were times when they all blindly chose Canada or the US. These days are long gone; students now choose their study destinations wisely,” said Mohammed Shhuib, who leads educational counseling in Kozhikode.
