Kerala social media influencer woman booked for allegedly sexually harassing minor boy

Police have registered a case against a prominent social media influencer and motivational speaker for allegedly sexually harassing a minor boy in Thrissur, Kerala, officials said on Thursday.

A case has been registered under various sections of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offenses Act (POCSO) at the Thrissur West police station, officials said.

Police said a complaint was received three days ago alleging that the accused had sexually molested an 11-year-old boy.

Police officials said a detailed investigation into the complaint is underway and the boy’s statement has been recorded.

The child recently underwent a medical examination at Thrissur General Hospital after which the police decided to continue the investigation. However, the police refused to give further details, saying that the investigation is at a crucial stage.

Police said further proceedings, including questioning of the accused, would be initiated after a detailed investigation.
