
Kerala will present 12 projects worth 14.39 GBP Crore on the annual Ayurveda Day on Tuesday.
Some of these projects are already formally functional. These include comprehensive maternal care, an e-semi-lodge covering 240 institutions, Ayush Yoga Club, which supports everyday practice of yoga and special clinics for reluctant diseases.
Minister of Health Veen George will be inaugurated with Ayurveda celebrations and officially start these 12 projects.
One of the key initiatives of the “Suthikmitram” is designed to provide scientific training for women in prenatal and postnatal care in Ayurveda, ensuring that the necessary services are available for mothers and children throughout the state. Another important program “Supraja” is the complex initiative for the health of mothers and children, whose aim is to improve women’s health during pregnancy and postpartum and at the same time ensure healthy growth of their children.
More than 10,000 yoga clubs currently operate in the state and support the importance of yoga in lifestyle prevention. The Ayush Yoga Club has been developed to inform people about nearby yoga clubs.
Special clinics for non -transferable diseases are designed to provide comprehensive interventions that maximize the potential of Ayurvedy to prevent and control disease -related diseases.
The “Ayurkarma” scheme, which is available through the Ayurveda government dispensing sets, offers a complex Ayurvedic treatment, including Panchakarma, for economically disadvantaged individuals.
The National Program for the Prevention and Treatment of Osteoarthritis and other musculoskeletal disorders is an initiative for public health focused on prevention, control and treatment of various musculoskeletal diseases, including osteoarthritis. A special clinic for joint disorders and musculoskeletal disorders will make the benefits of Ayurvedy, which are particularly effective for joint diseases, are available to the public.
