As part of its pressure on Onam’s demonstration as the main festival on the global map of cultural tourism, the responsible company Mission Mission, Kerala, an international program of cultural exchanges opened. This initiative seeks to build Keral as a leading goal for cultural tourism and at the same time emphasizes Onam as one of the most famous Indian festivals.
12 -member international delegation, including responsible tourism leaders, tour operators and academics from countries such as Great Britain, France, Vietnam, Indonesia, Thailand, Sri Lanka, Nepal, South Korea, South Korea, started its visits to responsible tourism (RT) in Kottayam scenarios. During the visit of the villages, the delegation bought indigenous crafts made of coconut shells and clay, made by local units of RT. They were also welcomed by traditional drums at the destinations and participants also joined the local community for the Onam feast. The delegation joined their absorbing cultural experience and also participated in traditional competitions organized by responsible tourist units.
The group is also proposed to witness the processions of Onam, which 9th September refers to the finals of the celebrations onam week in the state capital.
The program is organized as part of the Minister of Tourism in Keral, in the directions of the Minister of Tourism PA Mohammed Riyas. According to the Minister, the guest group is accepted around various RT units, a world -renowned tourism model to get a view of several initiatives implemented in the state, such as tourism for women and sex, and curator schemes such as streets, Pepper and the RT village.
The tour, during which the team will visit responsible tourist places on Thiruvananthapurama, Kottayam, Alappuzha and Thrissur, is scheduled to close on September 11th.
