Sarika hands over money for the nomination papers of CPI candidate A. Jayadevan.
In a touching moment of gratitude, Sarika, mother of Adit Krishna, the boy who underwent a life-saving kidney transplant, handed over the bail money to CPI candidate A. Jayadevan, who is contesting from Division 51 (Civil Station) of Thrissur Corporation.
Mr. Jayadevan played a major role in mobilizing the ₹31 crore needed for Adit’s transplant when the family struggled to raise the money.
As a symbolic gesture of gratitude, Ms. Sarika personally handed him the amount needed for the deposit. Mr Jayadevan was a personal employee of former Agriculture Minister VS Sunil Kumar.
