
Minister of Health Veen George announced on Saturday that digital payment systems have been introduced in government hospitals throughout the State to facilitate payments for different services.
In the first phase, 313 hospitals are now equipped with a digital payment system. According to the official release of the Minister of Health, Veen George, there is an effort to expand this system to the remaining hospitals within one month.
Among other things, the system enables payments for services in health centers across the country using credit cards, debit cards and UPI (Google Pay, Phonepe).
This initiative was carried out in cooperation with the Keral information mission at the Ministry of Local Self -government. Sales (POS) facilities were obtained through the state bank of India and Canara Bank, the minister added.
The digital payment system, along with the online OP Ticket, M-Health App and Scan and Book Systems, will be inaugurated Mrs. George 7 April.
E-booking OP tickets
The health department has established an online facility for reservation of OP tickets for consultation with a doctor in all Modern Medicine hospitals throughout the state.
In the first phase, it will offer this service 687 hospitals, where an electronic health scheme, together with approximately 80 medical centers, from Taluk hospitals to the Faculty of Medicine. The device can be accessible to the public via computers, smartphones and akshaya centers, the edition said.
M-Health Application
The M-Health application allows individuals to access their health and information of their family members, including regulation details, laboratory test messages, and other digital health data using their unique health identity number (UHID) or mobile phone number.
The app is available for download on Android smartphones. Users can also reserve OP tickets, added versions through the application.
Depending on the release of the scanning and book, it allows patients who arrive in government hospitals without previous reservations to get their token without standing in the queue.
By scanning the QR code displayed in the hospital using a smartphone, patients can get their operating card online. This allows them to access medical services without waiting at the queue at the reception, the edition said.
