Kerala is approaching self -sufficiency in milk production, said the Minister of Animal breeding J. Chinchurani.
The Minister said he made the foundation stone for the new veterinary hospital in Vallikunnam on Saturday in Alappuzha on Saturday that home milk production in the state has increased significantly.
“The government carries out various schemes that attract more people to the milk sector. Special milk development systems have also been introduced for employees in the Coir, Plantation and Fisheries branches,” Mrs. Chinchurani said.
She was presided over by Mrs. Arundkumar, MLA. Bharanicava block Panchayat President S. Rajani, Vallikunnam Gram Panchayat President D. Rohini and others participated.
