A Division Bench of the Kerala High Court has asked the state government, Travancore Devaswom Board (TDB) and other stakeholders for permission to proceed to Sannidhanam in Sabarimala when it opens for pilgrims every month only to those who have valid virtual queues or seat reservation tickets corresponding to a specific date and time slot.
A bench of Justice Raja Vijayaraghavan V and Justice KV Jayakumar issued the direction on the basis of a report submitted by Special Commissioner Sabarimala while considering a suo motu case in this regard.
The court had earlier directed the chief coordinator leading the police team and the TDB to ensure that only those who have a valid virtual queue or seat reservation ticket corresponding to a particular date and time slot are allowed inside the Sannidhanam.
