The Kerala High Court has relaxed the anticipatory bail of Malayalam rapper Hirandas Murali, also known as Vedan, in the female doctor sexual assault case, allowing him to travel abroad for stage performances.
The Thrikkakara police submitted a final report to the court in this case. The court took note of this and allowed him to travel abroad subject to conditions. They included that he should inform the investigating officer of his travel details a week in advance. He must also submit details of his passport, travel plans, phone number he would use abroad and places he would stay.
A week ago, the court relaxed his preliminary bail conditions in another sexual assault case to allow him to attend theater performances abroad.
