The Kerala High Court has ordered the postponement of the ongoing agitation by a section of nurses working in private hospitals in the state under the banner of United Nurses Association (UNA) till March 19. Interviews are expected to take place Tuesday at the court’s mediation center.
The court said on Friday that any continuing difference of opinion between nurses and private hospital management would have an impact on people seeking treatment and other members of the public, and said it would be ideal if both sides opted for mediation. A mediator would be assigned from the court’s mediation center to help reach a settlement, it added.
