
The High Court in Kerala searched the probe into the alleged permission granted by the Travancore Devaswom Council to install Lord Ayyapp at the Sabarimala Temple.
In this respect, the High Court organized in this respect hearing in the case of Suo Motu.
The divisional bench of justice Anil K. Narendran and Justice Muralee Krishn S. also ordered the Chief Police Coordinator of the Temple to present a report on the alleged distribution of brochures to mobilize funds for this purpose.
The Sabarimala Special Commissioner was also ordered to see whether Idols and Boxes were illegally placed in Sannidhanam and submitted a report in this respect.
The Government Council said the police had launched a probe into a problem and steps were taken to inform pilgrims through the virtual queue platform.
The High Court recently searched for all files concerning the alleged permission granted a TDB to a private person to install the idol. The Court initiated proceedings on the basis of a report submitted by R. Jayakrishhnan, a special Commissioner Sabarimal, who noted that TDB allowed the chairman of the Multi-specialty hospital in Erode and installed the idol Ayyapp made of Panchalham, from five precious met.
