
Kerala’s government suspended the assistant of the battalion commander Keral (chap) for reporting under the influence of alcohol during the visit of the Minister of the Interior of the Union Amit Shah in the State in August, the police said on Sunday.
Officer S. Suresh Kumar from the Battalion of Kap was deployed as an officer in the Kochi terminal when Shah arrived on a two -day visit of August 21.
However, leading officers found that he was under the influence of alcohol under the influence of alcohol and immediately removed him from service.
Later he was transported to the Government Hospital in Angamala, where the medical examination confirmed the consumption of alcohol, the police said.
After the incident, the head of the state police ordered an investigation and the government was recently submitted.
On the basis of the finding, the government found a serious mistake by the officer and ordered his suspension.
Suresh was also ordered to undergo an oral investigation on the basis of an investigation by the police department, the punishment and the rules of appeal.
Soon a committee composed of higher police officers will be appointed for the investigation, the officials added.
