
The rape and murder accused of Govindachama escaped from the central prison in Kannura in Kerala on Friday morning.
“Details surrounding the escape from prison are still appearing. A massive fall has been launched and more information is expected,” Kannur police said on Friday in a statement.

Govindachamy has no arm, the police said when she informed the public about the escape of prison and the “identification sign” of the accused.
Govindachamy performed a lifetime punishment for rape and murder of 23 -year -old Tymya. It was attacked when traveling by passenger train from Ernakula to Shoranur 1 February 2011.

How did Govindachamy escape a high security prison?
The news claims that Govindachamy escaped the prison after cutting off the wire and then jumped over the high walls of prison.

The surrounding wall is reportedly seven and a half meters high and electric fencing was installed at the top. More than a thousand prisoners are currently filed in the Mathrubhumi report.
A case of rape and murder of tumes
Tymya, a 23-year-old employee of a private company in Kochi, was reportedly attacked by Govindachamy when traveling on a passenger train Kochi-Shornnur. The incident occurred on February 1, 2011.
