The Married The Wayanad assembly constituency is witnessing a toe-to-toe between OR Kelu, a CPI(M) leader and minister in the outgoing cabinet, and Usha Vijayan of the Congress, with the leadership changing frequently.
After Ms. Vijayan took an early lead in the opening rounds of counting, Mr. Kelu regained the lead in the fourth round. However, to the end 10th round of countingMs. Vijayan moved ahead again and is leading by 1,072 votes.
