Voters in Kerala may have to wait a little longer for the updated percentage figures from Thursday’s assembly elections. Election officials said the final data could take a day or two as precinct election officers and returning officers have to complete the updates before Election Commission of India (ECI) compiles and announces the official turnout.
The ECINET app shows a voter turnout of 78.27% as of Thursday evening. This is “provisional” and does not include service voters and postal tickets.
