The chairman of the Minister Pinarayi Vijayan said on Tuesday, on Tuesday, said that Kerala is now on national and international and internationally as a refuge for start -ups.
He spoke in an interaction program with selected personalities from various fields in the district, which took place as part of the celebration of the fourth anniversary of the left democratic front (LDF). The main minister noted that the number of start -ups in the state increased from 640 in 2016 to 6,300 at present, with a total investment reached 5,800 GBP Crore.
The IT sector also recorded considerable growth. The number of IT companies in Kerala today increased from 640 in 2016 to 1 106. Employment in this sector has currently almost doubled from 78,068 jobs to 1,48,000. It also exports from 34 123 Crore to 90,000 crore.
Knowledge center
The head of the Minister emphasized Keral’s establishment as a center for knowledge and innovation and pointed out that three of the 12 best universities in India have been included in the state of the institutional ranking (NIRF), are located in the state.
Industrial growth in the state has also seen a significant improvement and now increased from 12% in 2016 to 17%. As the main minister said, it has been achieved through a number of legislative and regulatory reforms aimed at becoming a more favorable business.

Criticizes the center
