In a large strengthening of the Kera’s electronics industry in Mulangunnathukav in the Thrissur district there is a common device for the production of sensors.
The project is a cooperating effort between Celtron and C-MET (Center for Electronics Technology), operating under the Ministry of Electronics and IT.
The Minister of Industry P. Rajeev confirmed this development after meeting with S. Kršnan, the Ministry of Electronics and IT. The new center will be developed on the attic currently owned by Keltron. The plan will be 12.19 acres of Celtron’s soil – some of which are under liquidation – regenerated and re -for the project. The state will strive for approval of the High Court to continue to acquire land.
Blueprint project
Of the total land, 5 acres will be transferred to the Ministry of the Union for C-MET expansion, while the remaining 7 hectares will be used to create sensor production equipment. Keltron has prepared a project plan based on a detailed proposal submitted by C-MET.
The device is assumed as a hub for sensor innovations, including the incubation center for sensor technologies, the development of integrated sensors and the production of key electronic components.
“This is a strategic step in transforming the state into a advanced production hub. The proposed center will support industrial development based on technology,” the Minister said.
