MPS KC VENUGOPAL AND CODIKONIL SURSH WISH FOR THE HOLY DEATH of actor-filmmaker Sreenivasan. Alappuzha mp said sreenivasan was an irreplaceable artistic talent.
“His works conveyed the raw reality of life, cloaked in humour. Sreenivasan, a unique talent, spoke honestly and accurately about the life experiences of the people around us,” said Mr Venugopal.
Mr. Suresh said the demise of Sreenivasan was an irreparable loss to Malayalam cinema and the cultural life of Kerala. Through his writing and acting, which seamlessly blended shrewd social observations, humanism and humor, he was a rare talent who influenced generations. By portraying the lives, dreams and woes of ordinary people with remarkable honesty, Sreenivasan has given Malayalam cinema a distinctive language and direction,” added MP Mavelikara.
