Kalvakuntla Kavitha, daughter of former Chief Minister and Bharat Rashtra Samithi chief K. Chandrasekhar Rao, is set to launch her own political party on Saturday to plan an independent political journey.
The name of the party participating in the rounds is Telangana Praja Jagruthi, reflecting the Telangana sentiment and an attempt to revive the emotional and cultural connection around the Telangana identity, which the BRS diluted when it rebranded as a national outlook.
