Katy Perry’s pop star faced an unexpected trolling from the giant Giant Wendy’s after her short Blue Origin space trip on Monday (April 14) ..
“Can we send her back?” Wendy’s Mocks Perry
Perry, 39, was part of the historic crew of all women on board the flight of Jeff Bezosho Blue Origin NS-13, including the anchor of CBS News Gayle King and Bezos’s fiance Lauren Sánchez.
After the singer “California Gurls” landed safely with her crew members, Wendy’s posted on X (formerly Twitter): “Can we send her back?” In response to a contribution announcing its return from space.
“I kissed the ground and I liked it”
Trolling didn’t stop there. The chain followed by reproducing Photos of Perry, who kissed the ground after landing, with the headline: “I kissed the ground and I liked it,” a cheeky reference to her 2008 escape “I kissed the girl”.
“Don’t change her – it was 11 minutes”
When the user pointed out that Perry’s way to space lasted only 10 minutes, Wendy returned back: “Don’t change it – it was 11 minutes.”
The Sarcastic tone continuedwith an account tweeting: “I’m a woman, send me to space”
And “When we said women in STEM, that’s not what we meant.”
The historical mission of all women
The Blue Origin flight was an important milestone to the first space trip from the crew, because the Soviet cosmonaut Valentina Tereshka’s solo flight in 1963 joined Perry, King and Sánchez Astronaut and scientist Amanda Nguyen, NASA Rocket Scientist Aisha Bowe and filmmaker Kerianne Flynn.
Wendy is known for nervous contributions
Wendy’s, who has built a reputation for her harsh presence of social media focused on the Z gene, did not clarify why she chose Perry. Yet the fans were amused.
