The Tamil government on Tuesday informed the Madurai bench in Madras that the investigation in killing Kavin Selvaganesh will be completed in two months.
The court listened to the public interest in the court proceedings filed by SMA Pon Gandhimathinathan of Toothuku District, which was looking for a direction for the CB-CID probe, which will be monitored by the district judge of Tirunevel.

The petitioner also sought the direction of the government to provide a reasonable replacement of 50 lakh in planned castes and planned tribes (prevention of atrocities) of the rule of the family of the deceased and bringing a separate act to prevent the killing of “honor”.
