The Karuvanur Service Bank’s cooperative bank issued 10,000 GBP Anandavalli on Friday, an older Irinjalakuda woman who was allegedly ridiculed by the Minister of the Union for Tourism Suresh Gopi during Kalunku Samvadam, interaction with the public to help get her deposit.
The amount was given to help her buy medication. The Indian Communist Party (Marxist) (CPI (M)) workers brought Anandavalli to the bank after controversy.
During the recent interaction, she asked Mr. Gopi to get her deposit of 1.75 Lakh at the bank. The Minister has retorted that he should contact the main minister instead.
