The Madurai bench of the Madras High Court on Friday (October 3, 2025) rejected foreshadowing proposals for bail submitted by the Secretary -General of TVK N. Anand, aka ‘Bussy’ Anand and a common Secretary of CTR Nirmal Kumar. Police Karur arrested arrests in connection with StamPede during a meeting in Velusamypuram, in which 41 people died.
Justice M. Jothiraman rejected the requests, with regard to the seriousness of the incident, and that the spacecraft was in the preliminary phase and the injuries were still in the hospital.

However, the organizers did not provide people with drinking water and sanitary facilities. Many people died due to dehydration and organizers after the incident,” he said.
