
India Karun Nair dough was finally dropped from XI playing for the fourth test against England in Old Trafford, Manchester after launching a bad form in the first three games of the series. While it was a breaking heart for Nair in Manchester, 24 -year -old Anshul Kartišt was over the moon that won debut in India.
The duo, although contrasting fates, was connected by one common factor – their month and the day of birth. Nair and the Carten were born on 6 December. In addition, two more Indian players were born part of the XI playing, namely Ravindra Jadeja and Jasprit Bumhrah.

Therefore, only Nair was unfortunate who missed the selection from the club 6th December for the fourth test. There are two more India players who were born on December 6 and continued to play for the country at the highest level: Shreyas Iyer and RP Singh.

In three games so far, Nair scored 131 runs on average 21.83 with the highest score of 40. In the last two tests he launched the third, recorded a score of 31, 26 and 40, but could not convert it to a large score. In addition, there has been another change in Indian playing XI as Shardul Thakur was brought to playing XI instead of injured Nitish Kumar Reddy.
