The opposition leader in the R. Ashok Assembly
The BJP opposition wondered on Thursday whether the decision at a special meeting of the State Cabinet was “conspired by extortionist ministers” to ask ministers to provide their views on the Socio -economic and educational survey of Karnataka.
In a post on the social media, the opposition leader wanted to know whether the decision to acquire written opinions of ministers indicated “lack of confidence in the cabinet”.
Mr. Ashok claimed that the main Minister Siddaramaiah brought a report on the census to escape from the anger of people against his government for many questions, including the price, collapse of law and order and lack of development.
Referring to the decision on the caste census, which was postponed because the discussion remained inconclusive in the cabinet, Mr. Ashok said that the main Minister Siddaramaiah decided to keep the matter alive and burn to distract the public.
‘Mega Serial’
“The mega drama called CASTE Census Census, Chief Minister Siddaramaiaha, which began 10 years ago, continues as a mega series,” he said. “What are the reasons why the state cabinet is unable to decide to decide on the census?” he asked. “If so, what is it that a special meeting of the state cabinet has achieved today?”
Mr. Ashok also wanted to know whether there was any discussion on the reconstruction of the caste census in a scientific way in the state cabinet. The BJP marked the Caste Census message “non -scientific” and demanded that Resurvey be done on a scientific basis using the latest IT tools to ensure authenticity.
