Chief Minister of Karnataka Siddaramaiah assured that his government would accept “Rohith Vemula Act”, a law to be framed and enacted to eliminate discrimination based on caste and identity in educational institutions.
He replied to the letter of former President of Congress Rahul Gandhi of 16 April on the Social Media Platform and urged the Karnataka government to enact the “act of Rohith Vemul” to ensure that no one faced discrimination based on the educational system.
In the paper on X, Mr. Siddaramaiaha, he said: “Our government stands firmly in its determination to enable the act of Rohith Vemul in the Carnation – to ensure that no student is faciming to discriminate against castle, class or religion.
In his letter addressed to Mr. Siddaramaiaha, Mr. Rahul Gandhi called on the Karnatak government to adopt the “Rohith Vemul” law. Rahul Gandhi, who emphasized discrimination, Brus, who faced his life, quoted several examples, told what the architect of the Indian constitution, “shameful”, and legislation need to ensure that this generation of students will not face such humility.
“He tells us about his experience at school:” I knew I was inviolable, and that they were exposed to some indignation and discrimination. For example, I knew I couldn’t sit in the middle of my classmates at school, but I was supposed to sit alone in the corner, “said Mr. Rahul Gandhi.
In the letter he also said, “It is a pity that even today millions of students from communities Dalit, Adivasi and the Civil Code have to face such brutal discrimination in our educational system.”
