The Karnataka government declared 14 drugs produced by various companies “non -standard” on Wednesday 25th June 2025 and warned people of public consumption, PTI reported.
The Karnataka Department for Food and Drug Administration has ordered chemists, wholesalers, doctors, hospitals and nursing homes not to keep these drugs, and, according to the agency, also aimed against selling or using these drugs and cosmetics.
“If they have any supply, they are asked to inform the drug inspector or assistant drug controller.
Drugs marked as “non -standard”
1. Merged sodium injection lactate IP (Ring-lactate solution for injection)-made by ultra laboratory (dose no.: KI124110) and there Bran Pharmaceuticals.
2. POMOL-650 (Paracetamol tablets IP 650 mg) by ABAN Pharmaceuticals (dose No. 13-4536).
3. Syrup Mito Q7 by Bion Therapeutics India (dose no.: CHS-40170).
It is one of the 14 drugs that were marked on Wednesday 25 June 2025 as the “non -standard” department of Karnataka for safety and drug.
The Ministry also asked for strict compliance with the regulations to be deposited on these companies and drugs to protect public health, the press agency said.
India to strengthen pli for drugs
According to an earlier Mint report, India focuses on significant support for its motivational programs (PLI) for the production of drugs to reduce the dependence on pharmaceutics in national pharmaceuticals on China imports.
The updated PLI scheme will include multiple molecules used in production key starting materials (KSMS), medicine intermediates and active pharmaceutical components (API), according to the report on the official communication of June 3, 2025.
According to the Mint report, they deal with details about incentives such as allocation, capacity and motivational ceiling for the improved PLI PLI system on which the cubicant official of the Ministry.
