The Kodag district has so far recorded 77.86% progress of VV in Karnataka in social and education survey. Holidays in government schools have been extended to facilitate the completion of the national exercise by collecting accurate information from households.
Enumerators visit all identified households in the district to conduct a survey. In addition, steps were taken to allow the public to complete the survey itself without waiting for them. They can record their details on the website https://kscbcselfdeclaration.karnataka.gov.in/.
By clicking on the link and selecting a “citizen”, users can log in with your mobile number. OTP will be sent to their registered number that must be entered to continue. The following page will show whether or is the survey of this household. If the survey is waiting, there will be a message stating that no family members have been added yet and users can start by clicking on “Start New Survey”, the press release said.
On the next page, the UID number must be entered on the sticker attached to their house and fill in the required details on the screen. Citizens are advised to keep their ration card, AADHAAR card, voter ID, and if applicable, the card or certificate of disabled prepared for easy participation in the survey.
Once the survey is successfully completed and submitted, a confirmation message will be sent to the registered mobile number, according to As Deepak, district officer, social care department, Kodag.
“People do not have to wait for the listeners to visit their homes; they can participate in a survey of a visit. By entering their data themselves, it can ensure the exact representation of their family’s social and economic position,” he said in the report.
The district has 1,131 blocks. From the goal of 1,34,396 households, the survey was completed for 1,04,644 households, which made 77.86% of progress, said.
