Karnataka CM Shivakumar to inspect drought affected areas during Bagalkot visit

Chief Minister DK Shivakumar will inspect drought-hit areas in Bagalkot district on Friday.

He will participate in a puja at the Krishna river at the Kudal Sangam, hold a meeting of agricultural scientists at the University of Horticultural Sciences and later with officers at the zilla panchayat.

The Chief Minister will fly to Jindal Airport in Torangallu in Ballari district in the morning. Will reach Kudal Sangam by helicopter at noon. Later in the evening, Mr. Shivakumar will leave for Hampi Kannada University. He is scheduled to attend the state-level launch of Praja Seva, Public Grievance Redressal Department, at Kudliga in Vijayanagar district on Saturday.
