Karnataka Cabinet on Thursday cleaned the design of spending on a revised plan of 40,425.02 Crore for the second phase of the Namma metro project in BMRCL.
The cost of the second phase increased by 14 019.88 Crore, from 26 405 Crore to 40 425.02 crore, for occupying the metro work from 72.9 km to 75.06 km.
In an interview with reporters after the cabinet meeting, the Deputy Minister DK Shivakumar said that due to the increase in land acquisition costs, increased the value of instructions and civil construction work by 4,408.73 Crore increased by 14,019.88 GBP.
Garbage
The cabinet decided to call offers for the collection and transport of garbage in Bengalur. The offers will be floated for seven years for the price of 4791.95 crore.
Mr. Shivakumar said that offers will be called in 33 packages, each package for one small constituency of the legislative assembly and two packages for larger circuits.
The High Court ordered the government to rework the timeline within four months to complete the selection process.
Tunnel
The cabinet cleaned 17,780 GBP for the 16.75 km tunnel project from Hebbal to the silk plate in Bengalur. Mr Shivakumar said that the main minister was entitled to call global offers for the project. All work -related work would be completed in 38 months, he said.
Renunciation of interest
Mr Shivakumar said that the Cabinet approved a complete surrender of interest in delay in the payment of real estate tax by community organizations or trustworthy for the Bengalur Bengalur Development Office. The renunciation of interest would be around 234 crore. The organizations were asked to pay the tax amount within 120 days.
Birch complex
It was decided to assemble housing complexes on three acres in Bandemata in Kengeri, Bengalur.
He decided to develop two housing flats BHK 214 with basement, ground floor and 12 floors and three flats BHK 214 with basement, ground floor and 13 floors, clubhouse, gym, swimming pool and other equipment. In the first phase, out of 6.8 hectares, three acres would be used for housing complexes at Karnataka Housing Council.
