Bhim Army Youth Wing – Mission Bharath Ekta will show solidarity with Rural Development Minister and Panchayat Minister Priyank Kharg by organizing a counter-demonstration ‘Bhim Path Sanchalan’ (route march) against the planned RSS Path Sanchalan in the ministers home town, Chittapur on Sunday.
Speaking to reporters here on Saturday, Santhosh Pala, state president of the Bhim Army youth wing, said Mr. Kharge had demanded that RSS activities not be allowed on government land, but did not mention a total ban on the RSS. RSS supporters misinterpreted it and called Mr. Kharge threateningly and abusively, he said.
Mr. Kharge vowed to fight extremists and divisive forces associated with the RSS to protect the secular democratic fabric. The leader’s commitments are rooted in ideology rather than politics and he cannot be intimidated by such threatening calls, Mr. Pala added.
RSS decided to field Path Sanchalan in Chittapur constituency on Sunday. Bhim Army will hold Bhim Path Sanchalan in Chittapur on the same day, Mr. Pala said.
