Teachers strongly opposed this transfer of minority headquarters strongly to appoint visiting teachers for the academic year 2025-26 through a joint entry test (CET) across the state for vacancies in schools under his jurisdiction, including residential schools of Morarji Desai and Maulan Azad. On Friday, May 9, an order for this sense was adopted.
Teachers claimed that such a CET is not required to appoint teachers at the Ministry of School Education, Department of Technical Education, College Education and other departments, including universities.
Previously, the Directorate was responsible for the appointment of teachers visiting the main masters of the relevant schools or district officials of the Directorate at the district level. They invited applications from teachers and hired visiting teachers based on demo, merit and seniority. In addition, teachers who have already been admitted in previous years were re -appointed.
This year, however, decided to carry out CET throughout the state 1 June 2025.
The exam will be held for 100 stamps and the questionnaire will be printed in Cannada and English. OMR leaves will be provided for writing answers. Questions will be asked about compulsory Cannada, compulsory English, development of children and pedagogy and plans and programs of minority departments.
It was decided to publish a list of merits of candidates by combining 40% of the average brands acquired in CET, 20% of the brand acquired in graduation, 20% for the bed. And another 20% of the brands acquired in postgraduation.
Teachers’ opposition
“For the past five years I have worked as a guest teacher at a residential school under the department. Every year we have been admitted as guest teachers based on demo and merit. When all other departments, including the school educational department, select teachers visiting through merit and seniorities.
“Our department pays a monthly reward of 10,500 GBPs to visiting teachers. It should consider CET again,” said Maulany Master Maulany champion in Bengalur.
The Directorate officials were not available for comments despite repeated attempts.
