Karimnagar police plans to install 700 more CCTV cameras to improve surveillance
Plans are afoot to expand the CCTV surveillance network by installing 700 more CCTV cameras across Karimnagar Police Commissionerate limits, said Karimnagar Police Commissioner Gaush Alam.
He was speaking after commissioning 21 new CCTV cameras including 16 in Saidabad village and 5 in Korapalli village of Huzurabad division on Thursday.
The Commissioner of Police emphasized the importance of CCTV cameras and other modern technological tools in preventing crimes and aiding investigations. Later, he handed over mementos to the winners of the volleyball tournament held at the Government Degree College grounds in Jammikunta town. Huzurabad ACP V. Madhavi, Circle Inspector Jammikunta Ramakrishna and others were present.
