Karassery grama panchayat plans to re-open Take-a-Break facility on Koyilandy-Edavanna state highway to restore crucial transport facility for passengers.
The facility, located in North Karassery Madampuram, remained closed for almost one and a half years. It was inaugurated on 14 June 2023. The panchayat began renovating the facility with a renewed focus on public service rather than revenue generation. “Renovation work is going on and the facility will be reopened with a strong focus on services to ensure maximum benefit to passengers,” said G. Abdul Akbar, president of Karassery grama panchayat.
